Following the government's announcement that all schools will close to most pupils from the end of the school day on Friday 20th March, Hayeswood First School will be closed from that date. We will only remain open for the children of key workers and vulnerable children, as defined by the government.
Parents and carers have been contacted to identify themselves to their schools as key workers. We will be in contact to make arrangements for Monday. Parents and carers of vulnerable children will also be contacted this week to make arrangements for Monday.
During the closure, we will provide home learning for all pupils which will be uploaded to the school website for students to complete. Staff will be available to track and monitor completion of the work. It is extremely important for students to engage meaningfully with this work, which will consolidate and build on current knowledge and cover new content.
